It’s not the first time we talk about Dell’s entrance to the touch tablet arena, which is meant to be done in a rather unusual way: by testing the waters with the Streak Mini tablet featuring a 5 inch display. Many have complained that 5 inches are not enough for a true mobile experience and I tend to agree with them.
It seems that Dell has heard those complaints and is already working on two bigger brothers for Streak Mini 5, a 7 inch and a 10 inch model. Those two showed up on a document that arrived at Engadget, who were kind enough to share this info with the rest of the world. The same document stated that the Streak 5 will arrive sometime in June, the 7 inch tablet sometime at the end of the year and the 10 inch tablet at the beginning of 2011.
Dell’s official answer arrived a few hours later but didn’t confirmed the leak. It was more like a statement, that they are continuously working on mobile products to improve consumer experience. Marketing talk, nothing special.
