You might ask “why would I need a digital photo frame with touchscreen capabilities”, buy I’m not having the answer. eStarling must mave it as they’ve just announced the 802.11n Touchscreen Connected Frame, a digital photo frame that features a touch screen screen (multi touch was not mentioned) and WiFi 802.11n connection.
The UI (User Interface) from previous eStarling products was reworked to allow easy touch input from the user, or so they say. The screen is a very nice 10 inch 16:9 aspect ratio display with 800 x 480 resolution. Another interesting thing to note is that the eStarling 802.11n Touchscreen Connected Frame can also play video clips (even Youtube), but they have to be 20 MB or less in size.

The fast Internet connection is also used to download images from Flickr, Gmail, Picasa, Facebook and other online galleries streams. From here they can be pushed back to a Twitter application. Your own photos can be transferred directly to the digital photo frame without the need to connect it, as it shows up in your wireless network. The touch frame will sell beginning November 15th at 250$.
