We all know the Achille’s heel of the iPad is lack of support for Adobe Flash. Everyone wants it but Steve Jobs, who thinks there’s a better reason to stick to HTML 5 video tag instead of full Adobe Flash support, the web standard that governs over 90% of current websites. Apparently an iPad user got so upset by this matter, that he ported the Flash 10.1 from Android to the iPad and shot a small video demo to prove it.
Of course we can’t confirm that the video below is the real deal, but we kind of hope it is. Unfortunately when/if it ever comes to light, you’ll only be able to install it if you jailbreak your iPad first, as Apple would never accept such an app in their AppStore. But that’s a small price to pay for web freedom these days.

As you know already, the iPad doesn't support Flash at all. This means that your favorite sites might not work...
hi,
i’ve been running the ipad for a while, and i’d love to see this showup. though im most likely are going to get myself another tablet for serious use, the ipad is just an overrated expensive “toy”. nice, but not ‘usefull’.
But ontopic, its good news, and no hoax, they are currently testing it and it still runs a bit buggy but i bet that we will see serious results within a week or 3 i suppose.
Regards,
Jeff
The #1 reason for lagging computers are badly crafted flash applications.
I choose to turn off flash and as a bonus I wont see unwanted flash based ads. Down side is that some sites are not operation for me but there are plenty of similas but not flashdependant ones.
When there is a flash that can be limited to 20% CPU and memory usage I will reconcider my choice.
Goran, I’m actually also blocking flash on firefox, and I can click on a flash ad/video click only when I want or need to see it.
I totally agree with you that Flash is problematic on the CPU, but I don’t think it’s the technology’s fault, but also bad programming/designing is to blame here.
