There aren’t too many convertible netbook tablets on the market today (see the list of netvertibles here) and any new product is welcome to increase the options consumers have. The Swift i-Touch by DTK is what you would call a typical netbook tablet, with a 10 inch screen (no idea if it’s HD ready) and an Atom N450 CPU, helped by 1GB RAM (why not 2 GB is beyond my understanding), a 320 GB hard drive. Add to that a 1.3 megapixel camera, WiFi, optional 3G and you have a clear picture of what’s going on with the Swift i-Touch.

    By the way, the OS is Windows 7 Starter, so you’re pretty much on the same line with other netvertibles. Price is competitive too, at around 450$.

    What’s not to like is the fact that for the moment Swift i-Touch is only available in United Arab Emirates, so it might take a long time till it will show up in US stores.
