Touch tablet devices are gadgets, they are used by geeks for web browsing, sending emails and stuff that doesn’t include actual work around the house, but Nimble wants to change that with the Touch Revolution Tablet, a 7 inch device that can be integrated into microwave ovens, refrigerators and dishwashers and seemingly integrate with them. They gave a few examples of integration: you scan with a barcode reader any packaging that you’ve emptied and the tablet orders another one from your favorite list of shops or sync that info to your phone. The product are then delivered to you.

Dishwashers for example can monitor washing cycles, adjust them based on eco parameters and even email you a full report every months about water and power consumption. There’s practically no limit to which device the Nimble Touch Revolution integrates with. You only need an idea to follow about how can a smart home appliance help you. Nimble said that their tablet is already being used in some hospitals in a few models of medical equipment for operating rooms.
