MOTO Development Group is a company that recently announced it’s working on a new series of Android based touch tablets with OLED screen (better colors, improved battery life, greater contrast). We know about the new series that it consists of three models: 3.5, 5 and 10.4 inch, all with OMAP CPUs and Android OS.

The 5 inch model is destined to be used as a PMP, PND and portable data terminal, and uses an OMAP 3430 microprocessor with 256 MB RAM and 256 MB ROM, 8 megapixel camera (that’s very interesting), WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, digital compass, accelerometer and even optional 3G card for anywhere access to Internet. This device runs Android 2.0 and has 720p output capabilities via an HDMI port.

The 3.5 inch model has a lower spec CPU, the OMAP 3630 and a 3 megapixel camera, the rest of the specs being almost the same with it’s bigger sibling. The bigger 10.4 inch model has Linux as OS but has the Android install option and is powered by an OMAP4X CPU, adds FM and GPS navigation.

The 5 inch model is available now, but MOTO forgets to mention the price, while the other two (full specs here) will be available sometimes in 2010.
