Everybody is working on their own version of a touch screen panel, some are concentrating on price, some on features, some on precision and so on. Neonode is looking to bring a slim and cheap version named zForce Pad, a series with diagonals ranging from 5 to 13 inches, so we’ve got something for the mobile world.
The zForce Pad is supposed to be cheap, slim (because lack of touch layer), has better colors, ambient light sensor included in frame so battery life should be a little better and is multi touch capable. Neonode didn’t say what kind of touch technology they’ll be using, but it sure is something proprietary if no touch layer is included. We’ll let you know once we find out more, as for now it seems some Asian manufacturers have already adopted Neonode zForce Pad.
