We’ve briefly presented you the MSI Wind Pad 100 tablet, announced officially by MSI at Computex 2010, a ‘classic’ Windows 7 tablet powered by netbook hardware. A French website managed to get a few press photos with it, showing more details than we’ve seen last week.
As expected specs remained the same, Wind Pad 100 is a 10 inch tablet (1024 x 600 pixels, no 1366 x 768 for you guys), with an Atom Z530 CPU, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output (capable of Full HD 1080p) and an Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset. Pricing remains the same, at the 499$ mark for the U100, and 399 for the Android powered U110 Wind Pad.
In the pictures below you can clearly see the on-top interface provided by MSI that will easy your work on launching new apps. Unfortunately, once launched, those apps run the same as before (read with no touch optimizations). Maybe Windows 8 will solve the interface issues associated with Windows tablets…
