After this morning’s announcement of the MSI Wind Pad 100 powered by Windows 7 is time to take a look at the second tablet from MSI, the Wind Pad 110, also a 10 inch model but running Android OS on an ARM CPU (not sure which one yet) on a Tegra 2 chipset.
The MSI Wind Pad 110 was not advertised during the press conference, but is was present at the MSI booth so this means MSI is still working on finishing the device, but it’s clear it has plans for offering slate tablets for both Windows and Android OSes. That’s nice, considering people from both parties should get what they want, isn’t it?
From what we know about MSI Wind Pad 110 is that is should sell for 399$ at store launch, and there will be no special on top UI over Android (like the case with MSI Wind Pad 100), which also means that upgrading to newer Android version could be possible (it will ship with 2.1 version out of the box). Things like USB Ports, SD card reader and SIM card slots will be offered by MSI with the Wind Pad 110.
