If you’re sad that Microsoft didn’t announce the Curier concept today we have good news for you: MSI has shown at CES a prototype of a dual screen eReader tablet concept that uses the fully fledged Windows 7, no small unknown Linux distribution here.  Even if MSI presented this concept as a dual screen eReader the truth is that it’s more like a dual screen netbook where the keyboard was replaced with the second screen.

Hardware is provided by Intel in from of an Atom Z processor, so expect good battery life from it. Software is still in beta and no accelerometer was fitted yet for auto screen rotation but MSI says is planning to do to. The cool part is that you can use any of the two screens to display a virtual keyboard for typing, with haptic feedback. Also on the external side of the protoype there’s an OLED screen that displays the time and current battery status.

Unfortunately there’s no word on price but expect it to be more expensive than your ordinary netbook when it will be shiped later this year. Below we have a presentation video from Engadget who took a first look at this dual screen tablet netbook concept with multitouch and Windows 7 plus a few pictures.
