MSI presented during CES 2010 a prototype of a Tegra based slate tablet running Android OS and now we finally have few official info to share with you. Apparently MSI is serious about bringing this product on the market, and what’s hot is that they’re planning on various models with screen diagonals to fit everyone’s taste. The base model should be priced around 500$, just like the Apple iPad, but will be faster, Full HD 1080p capable and will last longer.

I would definitely buy one if it will come with SD expansion slot, 3G data connectivity and maybe an USB port to conveniently enable peripheral connections. Unfortunately MSI didn’t tell the press when we will be able to buy the first model, but I hope it will be this year.
