When you think about touch tablet you definitely don’t think about Motorola, but it seems the American company is struggling to keep the good karma that grew for the first time in too many years with the Droid and now they’re working on a touch tablet called Sholes.

If you look at the specs (released by a Chinese website) it’s much like the Nokia N900, but it runs Android OS 2.0 or 2.1 (depends of release time):

    • 550MHz OMAP TI 3430 processor
    • 3.7″ touch screen, 800 x 480 resolution
    • HDMI port
    • 3.5mm headset jack
    • UMTS/HSPA
    • 8 megapixel camera with xenon flash with 720p video recording

Even if the 3.7 inch screen seems on the small side it also means that the Motorola Sholes will be a very pocketable device, easy to carry around, making it maybe the perfect all-in-one gadget. We don’t know yet when Sholes will hit the shelves but is in works and pictures indicate a pretty advanced stage where a few design touches and software tweaks are needed to make it perfect.
