It’s time again to see what the competition is doing in the tablet field, you know, the ones that haven’t launched yet a tablet. LG is one of them and recently has ‘leaked’ some info about their tablet plans, which include an Android slate which will be ready to get to consumers in Q4 2010. That’s 3-4 months time and if it will appear by then, there’s a chance we could buy it before winter season, something surely LG is aiming for. This is different from what we’ve heard initially about LG’s plans, but interesting nonetheless, showing that Windows 7 is becoming less and less popular as a tablet OS.
There’s not much info on this one, but apparently LG will keep it updated once new Android versions come alive, in a strive to compete with Samsung, another big name that hasn’t yet launched its tablet competitor to market. As we all know competition between Samsung and LG is fierce, we might have an interesting game upcoming the end of the year. As we consumers say, more choice is always better.

LG is planning an Android tablet
