It seems that almost everything that leaks on Internet is true, at least as far as it goes for last week Lenovo’s roadmap leak for 2010 which revealed plans for an X200 Tablet successor called X201T. It seems that things are moving even faster than predicted as Lenovo X201T convertible tablet already showed up on an Australian website, so now we finally have some specs to temper with.
So let’s see that the Lenovo X201T has to offer for us: 12.1 inch multitouch enabled LED backlit screen, a Core i7-620LM CPU at 2 GHz, 4 GB RAM, a speedy 320 GB Hard drive spinning at 7200RPM, an 8 cell battery and Windows 7 OS. It’s a very speedy device but as you might expect has one big disadvantage and that is price: 3700 Australian dollars, which is a lot, but business users will find in X201T a tank built ThinkPad, so plenty of things to like for the professional on the road. Other cheaper versions with Core i5 CPUs are probably on the road but I wouldn’t put my hopes up for a sub 3000 USD version.

Probably X201T will look a lot more like the picture X200 Tablet
