HP was pretty fast with shipping after presenting the TM2 convertible tablet to the public at CES. The TM2 is now in HP’s official store starting 950$, exactly like stated before. There are also few configuration options to make it more powerful but you’ll have to pay the price for the beefier CPU, more RAM or bigger hard drive.
The base configuration of HP TM2 includes an Intel SU7300 ULV dual core CPU running at 1.3 GHz (can be upgraded to SU9600, 3GB RAM and ATI Mobility Radeon 4550 with 512 MB memory (from the integrated Intel 4500MHD). All hard drives, from 160 to 500 GB run at 7200 RPM so you’ll feel a slightly boost here in Windows 7 (either Home Premium or Professional).
UPDATE: HP TM2 is now in stores. You can get one for as little as 881$.![]()

The link you have posted is for the core2 duo version and NOT the i3 version…
efromdc, there are core 2 duo and core i3 versions of the TM2. the core 2 duo is a low voltage version while the other one is a regular core i3, which means reduced battery life.
