Everybody was waiting for a miracle with Microsoft at CES last week: announcement of a tablet slate that will go head to head with the yet unannounced Apple iSlate. As it turned out Microsoft was pretty lame by just announcing they’re working with HP on a Windows 7 Slate type tablet and that HP is also working on other models.
As it turned out a few days later HP is in works for deploying many tablets this year, one being of big interest for us: a slate running Android shaped like an iPhone but almost twice its size, like the Dell Streak announced also last week. It will be interesting to follow this rumor as HP is known for having a close relationship with Microsoft, which is competing with Android and Google on every front.
