We’ve told you about HP buying Palm a few days ago and now it seems that HP has plenty of plans going on after this acquisition, including launching a WebOS touch tablet in Q3 2010, codenamed Hurricane. The move seems logical, but there are problems with this rumor, as the final acquisition has yet to be approved in US by the anti-monopole commission, something slated for July 31st, so in case something goes wrong there’s nothing HP can do to recover the money it spend developing the WebOS tablet, as this is something that can’t be done in just a few months (July to September) so it must have already started.

    It’s not enough time to release it at a press conference and certainly not enough time to put it in stores. If we are to believe it will get in time for Christmas shopping season maybe we have something here with HP Hurricane, but I highly doubt that.
