Hannspree packs Android 2.2, Tegra 2 and capacitive screen

If I were to define right now the perfect Android tablet I would definitely say: Android 2.2, Tegra 2 graphics chip, capacitive screen with multi touch and 7 to 10 inches in size. The tablet Hannspree just announced has all that plus a few aces down the sleeve to help it become an interesting choice for those hunting for an Android slate.

Tegra 2 bring full HD 1080p video playback so plenty of media to watch out there when you travel. Mini HDMI ensures you can output that video to a big screen TV. Mini USB lets you connect a flash disk with additional movies on it. The 1 GHz CPU and the Tegra II graphic chip is a killer combination when it comes to games and video playback so Hannspree has the upper hand here together with just a few other tablets.

If you take a closer look at the specs you cannot deny the Hannspree could be one of the best Android Tablets to date (more specs on this PDF), but all depends on how they’ll be able to market the device, the price in US and of course availability. Imagine that Apple has sometimes troubles with meeting demand for iPad so I don’t think Hannspree has the power to deliver a few dozen thousands devices, if users request them, but that’s the least of their problems.

I suspect Hannspree will be present with their tablet also during IFA Berlin 2010, so expect more videos to surface with it in the next couple of days.
