Best tablet PC news, tablet reviews, deals, cases and accessories for 2010
iPad is essentially a grown up iPod that uses the same light OS of the iPhone. Chrome OS, due sometime this year, is a lightweight operating system for portable devices and is assumed to be the OS of choice for touch tablets too, as will offer the best online experience compared to its competitors Windows Mobile, iPhone OS and even Android.

A familiar face
While Google hasn’t announced anything official, yet concept renderings of the slate type tablet started to appear and even a video was created. The interface shown there is a mix of Microsoft Surface like interactions with contextual menus appearing when the user touches and holds its finger(s) on the table. Moving application windows is as easy as moving sheets of paper on a big table.

Supposed task manager
It remains to see how the interface will actually look like as we already know the hardware won’t be made just by Google, as Chrome OS is another Open Source project. We might also see QWERTY tablets, convertible tablets and such, using the same OS. 2010 promises to be an interesting year already.
