I don’t know if you remember the KNO, a daring dual screen tablet with two 14 inch capacitive touchscreens (here’s the link to refresh your memory). It was an interesting project, a concept if you will, that now has the opportunity to come to market before end year thanks to 46 millions dollars received in funding from venture capital firm Marc Andreessen.

That surely is good news for KNO, and also for us, as I can see myself with a dual screen tablet (not that big, maybe using 10 inch screens). The advantages are countless, and people who used two monitors to work know what I’m talking about. KNO’s dual screen tablet is positioned as an educational gadget, where students will be able to purchase textbooks, take notes, draws on those pages and probably will be able to share things between them.

Unfortunately, we still don’t know the price, which is speculated to be at least 1000 bucks, which is not an education friendly one. Maybe if they decrease the screen size…
