Gigabyte seems to be really into the convertible tablet race as they’ve displayed the T1000p netbook tablet at CeBIT and the first hands on had hit the web, of course. From initial impressions it seems we have a real deal here: chiclet keyboard (the best Gigabyte has put on a portable so far), nice resistive multitouch screen with good response, solid construction and a big 6 cell battery (56 Wh) which should be good for 7-8 hours of use.

Also the interface on top of Windows 7 Starter seems a little more snappy than the one on the Asus T101MT. There is also an interesting array of ports including Express Card slot and eSATA.
