Touch tables are still far off consumer living rooms thanks to the ‘massive’ price and still  early software options that could make a touch table usable for daily tasks. That doesn’t mean that manufacturers are ignoring completely this small niche segment, as GestureTek just announced the GestTable, a 42 inch multi touch table with Full HD 1080p resolution.

    There’s not much info about the GestTable, and that’s a pity because I would have loved to get a quote on pricing of this mammoth. Anyway, let’s stick to the things we know about GestureTek’s GestTablet, like the precise and responsive tracker with ultra-speedy response time, thanks to multiple cameras running at 100 frames per second.

    Interestingly enough, you could save some money by ordering just the screen, without the table it should be dropped in. This way you could also mount it on a wall, something some users might consider.
