Flexible displays are something many dream of for a long time. We even wrote something about them a while ago but clearly we’re not there yet. Progress is made, as HP showed a few days ago in a demo of a flexible thin and light display prototype.

    The presented device is in such early state that it can’t survive more than a dozen roll ups, but that’s more than enough to get us convinced on this idea. Imagine having a big tablet the size of a 15-17 inch notebook that can be rolled into a small cylinder that fits inside your backpack with ease. Now sit down and relax a few years till it becomes reality.
