We’ve shown you the Freescale Smartbook concept at the beginning of the year, during CES Las Vegas, and now it’s time to take a look at more advanced concepts, most of which might not even see the light of day. The most interesting on them, was developed by Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) and represents a blend of portable gaming console, instant messaging device and touch tablet.
I must admit it’s one of the most complicated types of devices with a curious blend of integrated functions, but also is one of the nicest when it comes to mobile flexibility, something people strive for these days.
Freescale says they’ve already sent this concept to their OEM partners and awaits a sign if it can be done, then it will make the next step, which involves convincing others of the viability of the project so that it gets some support to finally build it. We are holding our fingers crossed and ears open to any news related to this initiative, so stick around on All Touch Tablet to find out more.
