We’ve talked extensively here about the ExoPC slate, one of the most interesting Windows 7 Atom powered tablets with a custom user interface (read on our interview with the company CTO). A few days ago we talked about ExoPC preorders, which apparently just went live on their forum (needs registration). A few changes need to be mentioned from what we knew back then: both models (32 and 64 GB model) received a speedier SanDisk P4 mini SSD drive that can read/write at approximately 160 MB/s.
The price is a little bit smaller than initially anticipated: 624 $ for the 32 GB model and 720 $ for the 64 GB one, which suddenly loses the GPS (don’t understand why this odd choice from ExoPC). One more change, and we’re out, is that shipping was delayed from late September to October 15 th. If anything else changes we’ll let you know.
