The source for 2012 iPad, Android and tablet PC news, reviews and accessories guides
Undoubtedly one of the most anticipated tablets for 2010 is Dell Streak Mini 5, which we’ve talked about extensively here at All Touch Tablet quite a few times. We know now the approximate shipping date in US, which is next month and the enduser price, without a subsidy, a nice round 500$. It’s less than anticipated initially but a little bit too much for a 5 inch tablet, if you ask me. Thank God it ships with a 3G modem included, as this is just a few dozen dollar option in other tablets.
It’s curious why Dell decided to launch first the Streak Mini 5 in UK (on June 4th) and then in US. Anyway, that’s their problem, ours is to give you guys the news and possibly review it once it becomes available.
You’ll be able to order the Dell Streak Mini 5 directly from Dell’s website, so let’s see in short what you get for 500 bucks: 5″ WVGA display, 5 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, 16GB of internal memory, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, and 1GHz Snapdragon processor on top of Android 2.1 OS. That’s a nice deal for an unlocked device, but I’m waiting to see the subsidized prices and 3G Data packages.

Dell Streak Mini 5 is not so 'mini' when considering pricing
Update: Dell Streak is available in UK for 499GBP on Amazon.
