Remember the last time Apple launched the iPhone 3GS, with that more speed, more space, more battery life, more everything? Steve Jobs said then that also the iPod Touch received a speed upgrade as more and more customers see it as a mobile gaming platform, despite it’s lack of dedicated buttons.
Gizmodo wonders about the upcoming Apple tablet and its gaming capabilities as it is reasonable to believe people will want more from a bigger gadget. I tend to believe they’re right, as many of us would appreciate gaming on a 10 inch screen rather than on a puny 3.5 inch smartphone display, but the cost in battery life is to be evaluated here I believe, as even the NVIDIA 9400M consumes a lot of battery life if run at full potential, and given the slim size of the tablet I bet there won’t be a big battery in there as Steve Jobs won’t ever sacrifice looks for better specs, that’s known.
