Best Buy is looking further at tablets with great interest for this end year, as it did past years with netbooks. They believe this is going to be the next big thing in mobile computing so they’re doing everything possible to be ahead of the wave on this one. Best Buy already announced plans to sell its own branded tablet (made by Rocketfish), but now they say a bigger push will be seen for this year Christmas shopping season, when many other tablets are expected to arrive from names like Samsung, RIM, Acer and such.

OS choice will be the word here, with models powered by Android, Chrome, Windows 7 and even WebOS expected to arrive at some point this year or at the beginning of 2011. It will be interesting to see if others will follow Best Buy’s example and march on the same idea. If you ask me demand can also be ‘build’, as Apple did with the iPad.
