Best tablet PC news, tablet reviews, deals, cases and accessories for 2010
I hate when producers announce new products and then let you boil in your own juice while waiting for official release to market. That’s the case with many convertible tablets based on netbook hardware, like the ASUS EEE PC T101MT, which we’ve seen in January during CES, but didn’t hear anything about it ever since.

Till today, when we’ve got our hands on a short video demonstrating the modified user interface of Windows 7 that will power T101MT. Of course it’s an add-on software layer brought by ASUS, but it’s interesting nonetheless as it makes your favorite new Microsoft OS more touch friendly, as we all know the Redmond giant isn’t very good at designing mobile interfaces. From the demo below it seems that the new interface is able to distinguish between different pressure levels and pressure inclination (like when you write with a pen) but I suppose that’s got to be supported in hardware too. Till new info becomes available I’ll leave you with this video:
