UPDATE: It’s really shipping and the stock is running low already.

    It seems that finally the long awaited ASUS EEE PC T101MT convertible netbook tablet is here. I’ve just seen it on Amazon for 498.5$ (specs are scarce and no picture is provided so it might not be yet in stock), which is a very competitive price compared to Lenovo S10-3t.     The 509$ price point seems exactly matched to the iPad’s 499$ but I don’t believe they are direct competitors, as functionality is different and of course the targeted consumers are different. Following the link on Amazon, the model listed features only 1 GB RAM and a 160 GB hard drive, which makes me believe we’ll see also a higher priced model, probably in the 600$ range.
