It’s not the first time we talk about the ASUS with its rumored EEE PC slate type tablet (or better said PAD) which apparently was present at CES this year but not where you would expect it but at Nvidia’s booth where it was displayed as an ASUS concept tablet using the Tegra 2 chipset.

    It’s clear that for now ASUS hasn’t decided it to go on with this tablet because the prototype displayed didn’t even had an ASUS logo on it (but an EEE engraving was present). From what could be seen at Nvidia’s booth it seems the device is a slim one (that’s always a good thing) and feature a front facing webcam plus 4 buttons on the right side and joystick in the middle of them. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see before jumping to conclusions, but I bet ASUS will join the pack of touch tablet manufacturers.
