The source for 2012 iPad, Android and tablet PC news, reviews and accessories guides
As expected, because the iPad is not compatible with Flash, Adobe turned its attention on adversaries, in this case the Windows 7 platform for tablets and has put up an interesting video explaining how Adobe AIR and Flash will be part of the multimedia and browsing experience you would encounter on a Windows based tablet. Almost all info on this demo video highlights the advantages of using technologies already popular and says nothing about iPad, but we all know that’s what they’re aiming at. It’s hard not to agree with them since 85% or websites in Alexa top 100 use Flash, 75% of video online are Flash based and 70% online games use Flash.
The hardware platform showcased in the video below is the HP Slate, which we’ve talked about a few times here and which starts to make me want it a little bit more every day I read something new about it. If the price is right I would definitely buy one instead of the iPad, but there’s still plenty of time for me to reconsider till it will hit market.
