Everybody liked the Acer Timeline 1810T, with it’s better than Atom performance and near 8 hours of battery life between charges, but there was something missing: the touch tablet PC treatment. We’re happy to announce that Acer made that step and announced the 1820p, the tablet variant of the Timeline product series.

The main difference is of course the swivel touch screen and the OS: Acer Timeline 1820p only ships with Windows 7. Oh, and weight is up by 300 grams due to the screen swivel mechanism. The screen remains the same 11.6 inch with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution powered by an Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 1.40GHz CULV processor with 2GB RAM connected to an Intel GS45 Express chipset.
