We are in 2010 gentlemen and some manufacturers don’t think WiFi connection is a must for a touch tablet. I’m wondering what was in JXD’s mind when they’ve developed the Venus A30 7 inch touch tablet and didn’t add any option for wireless connectivity. What should you be doing with a multimedia tablet that can’t connect wirelessly to Internet?

I say multimedia because the JXD Venus A30 can play 720p videos and output them to a large screen TV via a HDMI port and is compatible with many other file formats including RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV, MP4, VOB, MOV, 3GP, MPG, DAT and lots of music files including FLAC and APE lossless.

As for price this is where this device shines, as retail price is suspected to go under 100$, which makes it a bargain. I would have paid more for WiFi tough and for a higher resolution (default is 800 x 480, just like the first netbook).
