What strikes me is that at CES 2010 many mobile devices were powered not by low power Intel chips but by the latest generation Qualcomm SnapDragon processors running at 1 GHz. This means of course no Windows 7 OS, but the simpler (from resources point of view) Android OS and other Linux variants.
