Fujitsu is your typical tablet PC manufacturer that uses the same rotating screen on top of a thicker than usual notebook body, but apparently they understand the huge potential of the slate tablet market, so they're launching a new 10 inch model that has something different. Besides the fact it will support Japan's LTE Docomo Xi network there's the fact Fujitsu F-01D Arrows Tab is waterproof and features a rugged body. While some are wondering if we really need a waterproof tablet at this po...
Fujitsu is the traditional tablet PC manufacturer, is you ask me. They're one of the oldest advocates of the tablet PC format and still today they're pushing lots of models for business use. But that's going to change as rumors point towards a launch of a 7 inch Android tablet for the mases. Until that happens let's take a look at the recently annouced Fujitsu TH40/D a sliding tablet with a QWERTY keyboard that will take on a fight with the Asus EEE Pad Slider and the Samsung Sliding series 7. ...
We've talked on one occasion about the Fujitsu Stylistic Q550, a 10 inch Atom tablet powered by Windows 7 that was set to debut in May. Even if the name suggest something that has to do with a nice design that's not the case here, as the Stylistic Q550 is a business oriented tablet, which also means unfortunately a 'business price', which in this situation means starting at $729 and going well up to $849 (see Fujitsu's product page). You might ask: why getting the Stylistic Q550 from Fujitsu ...
Another month is coming, another important IT show is approaching. This March we have the CeBit in Hanovra, Germany. Here a lot of companies are expected to launch new products, one of them being Fujitsu, with its 10 inch Atom tablet, the Stylistic Q550, which contrary to its name is a business tablet (just like RIM's Blackberry Playbook, another business tablet with a strange name).I know you think there can't be anything special about a Windows 7 Professional tablet made by Fujitsu, but th...
I'm glad that people still care about convertible tablet PC's and manufacturers like Fujitsu still support this legacy format, that exists for a couple of years already. Their latest model, the Lifebook T580, was just announced by Fujitsu at IFA Berlin 2010 and packs a lot of punch in a 10.1 inch format. Practically you would buy the Fujitsu Lifebook T580 if you want a powerful but still portable laptop that's touch enabled. And speaking of touch, the Fujitsu T580 features a four finger multi to...
Fujitsu is one of the veterans when it comes to convertible tablets, as they are advocates of this type of gadget for quite some time now. The only problem I see is that their tablet PCs are exactly what killed this format a few years ago: medium computing power devices with a very high price tag (think 2000 $). Things are about to change, as Fujitsu briefly introduced on their website the Fujitsu Lifebook TH700 convertible tablet PC.The first thing you'll notice is the 1099$ price tag (afte...
We've wrote about the Fujitsu Lifebook T730 convertible tablet a few weeks ago, when it surfaced on FCC's website, but we didn't knew too much about it then. It's time now to take a deeper look at it, as it just surfaced on Fujitsu's website. As expected we have a quite powerful tablet with Core i5-520M CPU, Windows 7 Professional and 12 inch touch screen with active digitizer. All looks nice compared to the HP TouchSmart TM2, which just got upgraded to Core iX platform. All except price, whi...
After announcing the T900 convertible tablet, Fujitsu was working hard on the smaller brother, T730 tablet, which just surfaced on FCC's site. We don't know yet too many specs about it (actually we know nothing beside its name) but we have a schematic with the bottom of the tablet. I know it's not much, but it gives an idea about what we're dealing with here.Unfortunately it seems it's the same square-ish design from Fujitsu which we don't particularly like, that's also found on the T900. ...
Are you in search of a fast tablet PC that will run all the programs you use on your deskop? You want it now? Take a look then at the Fujitsu T4410 tablet PC, a serious tablet powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU. The other spec you're interested in is the 12.1 inch screen with multitouch and digitizer option that allows you to control the tablet with your fingers or the included stylus. The Core 2 Duo CPU is not the fastest around since Intel launched the Core i5 and i7 mobile CPUs, but it doe...
I'm glad to see that Fujitsu's laptop division is not dead, as they just announced the Lifebook T900 convertible tablet. Unfortunately this is the best example of why tablet PCs didn't had a chance a few years ago: it's huge, heavy and expensive. It's also powerful, especially considering the 13.3 inch footprint, but the 1.5 inch thickness and 4.78 lbs weight might get me off buying it, if the 1889$ starting price didn't do that in the first place. If you can get past those problems you'll ge...
