Believe it or not Apple really is patenting everything, from the shape of their chargers to the design of their official cases. The latest product to get this treatment is the iPad official case that got the design patent from the US Patent Office. If you’re wondering what’s that special about the official Apple iPad case then you don’t understand how Apple’s mind works: they claim that putting a microfiber interior together with reinforced panels and making the case also act as a stand for media viewing and typing makes it special.

    I have to admit that it’s not an ordinary case, but to believe it’s worth a patent is another thing.
