It’s clear that some people don’t care about money as much as we do, thus for them premium products are a must, to showcase their social status, not just a caprice.
Vaja cases are such types of products, with prices well over the 100 dollars mars, which a lot of us would still consider crazy for a simple accessory. You might have already guessed that Vaja deals with cases for gadgets like MP3 players, digital cameras, notebooks, tablets, UMPCs and of course the iPad plus other Apple famous products.
What makes Vaja cases special is not the price but the quality offered by the full grain Argentinian cow leather hand picked by Vaja workers and then hand worked to perfection into what some call the best leather cases on the market (see best leather cases for iPad here). Now, let’s not get too much into PR talk and see what are the things that make a Vaja iPad case cost as much as 300$.
Let’s see what are the attributes of Vaja Argentinian cow leather that make it the best premium leather you’ll every be able to buy for your iPad or other gadgets:
- very strong, with great life expectancy
- non allergic leather because all dust particles can be cleaned easily
- unmatched feel and aroma derived from the famous Argentinian leather used by Vaja cases
- leather flexibility that allows it to be stretched and bend as needed
- very durable, with characteristics that get better with age, just like a good wine
- excellent texture, not altered in any way by the production process

Vaja uses leather like no other for its products

It might seem strange to you, but the statement above is true: Vaja makes the best leather cases while Apple builds the best tablet, at least for now. Their iPad cases are of two types: agenda style and flip. The most popular is the Vaja Special Edition Mamut Suela Brown Leather Case, that currently sells online for 299$. It’s got one of the most amazing textures I’ve ever seen and features a completely detachable front cover that can be fitted on the back of your iPad with a black leather grip.
The interior is also soft padded leather to not scratch the case and screen of the iPad case during transportation. All ports and controls are accessible when the case is in use, so you won’t ever have to take your iPad from the cozy case you just paid a fortune for.

If you owned leather products before you know there’s maintenance involved to keep the quality of the leather unaltered in time and Vaja cases are no different. Here are a few tips to help you during the process of maintaining one of the Vaja cases:
- don’t put adhesive stickers on the surface of the leather (even for inventory) and don’t write on with with a marker or other pens
- don’t over stretch the leather by putting too much items into one pocket
- when storing the case make sure you keep it in breathable cloth like cotton so that the leather can get air to it, as this is what keeps it soft and supple
Currently the best place to get Vaja cases are online stores, where you can pre order one if it’s not in stock and get it delivered to you when available. Remember that delivery times can take more than a week due to the uniqueness of the hand building process. Here are a few links that might help you get a Vaja leather case easily:
I’m sure soon you’ll be able to get a Vaja leather case for you iPhone 4, but now you’re limited with the iPad and iPhone 3G/3GS. If you’re interested in cheaper iPad leather cases follow this link. You might just as well find something interesting and more affordable at the same time.
Just taken delivery of a case for my HTC Desire, looking forward to getting it but to say I am disappointed is an understatement. The case is supplied so basically you can not use the phone, you have to pull it out of its tight case every time so it makes for a very tight stylish cover but unusable in practical terms. You probably do more damage to the phone pulling it in and out then not having the case in the first place. When I complained to VAJA they were absolutely not interested. Customer service is appalling and I would not recommend this product or company to anyone.
I paid £70.00 for the case & just got a tax bill in addition for tax duty for £22.00 because it apparently comes from argentina….alll unadvised
The Company again is NOT Interested
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY – RIP OFF
