Kindle is the best selling Amazon product of 2010. It’s by far the most popular Amazon product and the best eReader out there. Why? First, it’s dirt cheap: 189$ for the Kindle Keyboard 3G version and 139$ for the Kindle Keyboard WiFi only Kindle. Second it’s got a 6 inch eInk screen. Third, it’s light and lasts up to a month.

No other eReader or tablet for that matter, has all those features combined the way Kindle Keyboard does. That’s why I thought to make a list of the best Kindle covers and Kindle cases that you can get at this point. I’ve even put some Kindle accessories that you might find useful in this article. I have to let you know that I haven’t tested all those products, but I’ve searched the web for the best selling modes, read the reviews and made up my list based on that. Enjoy and don’t forget to let me know what you think in the comments at the end of the article.

Kindle Keyboard Lighted Leather Cover – 59.99$

This is the official Amazon Kindle case with included reading light. It’s simple in design, yet a complete Kindle accessory, with a light for reading in the night that draws power from the Kindle’s own internal battery. No need to get additional batteries. The LED light slides from the top of the case and gets stored by sliding it back.

The cover itself is made from genuine leather (exterior) and soft grey microfiber interior to protect the screen and the Kindle case against scratches. The Kindle itself is fitted inside the cover with two hinges.

The process takes a few seconds and can be done by hooking, rotating, sliding and releasing the eReader. If you get stuck you’ll find the needed info into the manual.

If you don’t like the Black finish there are 6 other colors to choose from: Burnt Orange, Chocolate Brown, Hot Pink, Steel Blue, Apple Green and Burgundy Red. It’s not the cheapest Kindle cover out there, but it’s guaranteed by Amazon, which says a lot.

What’s missing is the LED light sliding from the top. The rest of the specs remain unchanged. Even the 4 step process needed to fit the Kindle inside the cover is the same. For just 35 bucks it’s a great value considering the genuine leather exterior.
